End of year for schools and colleges is fast approaching, along with the perennial problem of what to buy to show appreciation. Popular gifts are not always the wisest choice – chocolates and biscuits (too fattening and unhealthy in large numbers), bathroom stuff (too personal and what fragrance will be right?), scarves and jewellery (tricky unless you are confident of the teacher’s style). Teachers love to be noticed and thanked, but generally prefer something thoughtful and inexpensive rather than a large and costly present. How about a personalized gift? Pens or post-it notes are practical and fun, and can be tailored to suit the individual. Tennis balls are a new addition to Zazzle. This prompted me to take a look at the ever-increasing range of balls for various sports you can now find on Zazzle. These balls would make a lovely novelty gift. There are all sorts of images and slogans available, or you can add a name or initials for special personalization. Or you can simply use them as intended, to play sport. These are good quality 'real' products, not cheap gimmicks best left on the shelf. Here is a selection: Card sales are picking up, and Zazzle has a sale running for a few days offering 50% off all cards (includes invitations and flat photo cards as well as standard greeting cards). It's only on until midnight 8th November, so what better incentive do you need. Go and dust off your lists and order something special and personalized while there is plenty of time and prices are low. For further christmas shopping encouragement, there is also 15% off sitewide, so you can shop for individual one-of-a-kind gifts too. Here are two examples of cards that have been bought today at sale prices. These were designed with the sporty person in mind, and with text that is fully customizable to suit the buyer's needs and preferences. Christmas gifts by Special Delivery! The sun is shining and we are all having fun enjoying our summer holidays. Meanwhile I have been busy at my computer, thinking about winter snow and santa hats, and planning for Christmas! They say that for designers and retailers "Christmas is in July". If that is true, I am late already :-( Never mind. My Christmas-themed collections cover Sport, Animals, Cats and Dogs, and Birds. I have searched through Zazzle's millions of winter and Christmas-themed designs to find the best ones to include on this website, and I am expanding my collections day by day. The early bird shoppers are out already, to snap up bargains in Zazzle's summer sales. A new design I created this year for Christmas stamps has already sold and I am thrilled to think it will appear on someone's mail soon. Here it is: By RowingbyJules for Zazzle
